    Want to help a racer?

There's been a bit of contraversy (I started it!) surrounding support for individual racers in the KB community. Most recently, the support drive for TS.

The guy who originally thought up the plan of helping Chris, and I think I can name him now (sorry if I can't Trev), met with me 2 weeks ago to get the ball rolling. He pointed out then that people would ask why **** and not ***** too? Simply put, there is no reason.

Any single person can do exactly what we've done, choose a rider, be part of their dream. It took a big step on my part as to who to support, but at this stage, Chris is the only KBer who truly impresses me. (Except for myself). I'm not saying I like him more than any others. Christ, I even used to get on with Logan 'till he tried to stick his tongue in my ear in a public toilet once.

If you get to know this kid, like a few around these parts, you'll understand exactly how driven and commited to this sport he is. I don't think he'd mind me saying that he sacrifices EVERYTHING you take for granted, just to get to a track.

SO, that's the reason WE chose Chris Sucich to get behind. Because we believe in him and want to be part of his dream. I want to see him standing on a WSBK podium and say to my kids "I helped that guy get there"

You think you've got a worthy candidate?

Get behind them but remeber, people are more inclined to support those that help themselves.

I'll help you out. Choose from the list in racer introductions.

Very good write up there WT, TS is deserving of any support he can get, I have read his race write up and the lad is really enthusiastic!

Anything I can help with? (monetary help is up the creek now with impending move to Oz....)

I think people should remember that we wanted to help Chris, it wasnt a KB board room meeting where he was chosen above other, we chose him because he is our mate and we wanted to help him.
If possible I would help everyone, even myself and my own race bike could do with a few dollars spent on it !

in no way was anything I did intended to piss people of, and actually frankly if it did I really couldnt give a fuck as thats an issue belonging to that individual and not an issue I need to take on board within myself, like I said in my auction, if you cant help a biker and a mate who will you help ?

So if you know of a deserving Racer who needs some support , then dont complain..... do what we did, we did something about it !
Ive run out of fucks to give

I'ld just like to point out, I Started him down this track! And he will be expecked to have MY name in the Thankyous list Before Your name at that first WSBK podium!
Theres written proof on KB that I first told him to "Get his sh*t off the road and Onto the Track!"

and goes to say, if you're like me and you're piss poor cos of whatever, but still want to back and help out a KB racer, there's a lot you can do if you can't donate your dosh - donate your time. Help them at the track, help them prep at home, help them picking up parts etc.. Every little counts and helps.

Hey Hey! Just to set the record straight, you asked me to! That was the sacrafice i had to make to get some extra dollars just to race!

Anyways, good stuff, and good luck to the campainge!

Also Racey - yes it has all been downhill of late, but i figure lucks gotta change soon, Ive got enough lack-of-reliable-racing aggression built up hopefully to take me faster around tracks once we get the beast goin! Not quitting anytime soon.

My attitude to this is simple --Its your time /money you guys spend it as you see fit.
I just think its fantastic that the oppertunity has come allong for a KB racer or two to get some sponsorship offered to him

Of course theres a lil bit of me going "what about ME" but heck thats human nature.
I have my aims and plans and unless the tree hugging rich gits living on the IOM manage to shut it down I WILL be racing there
Im gonna do one TT over there.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Oh fuck off Racey rider and WT. I was the one who started him down the track. Who sold him his first bike??? Yeah thats right.

By all accounts from what I hear you're a good cunt Jimmy for what you're doing for chris, as goes for everyone else thats helping him out.

He's my man, a good mate, As he well knows I'll continue to support him where possible as I have from close to the start of his career.

Hey is Chris comming to the South Island.? Maybe i can help him out while he is here. Just the offer of tools and a garage in CHCH to work on his bike if he needs it. Have a compressor etc.
The offer is open to ALL KB racers that need it. There will be a BBQ at my place on the FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights of the Ruapuna round for all racers and supporters that want to come. You are welcome to use the swimming pool to cool off or just chill out with a beer (for those not racing).

PM me if you need help. Maybe i can provide a floor for some people to crash out on as well (save a few $ on motels)
