So what is there to see here?

I am down in wellington for two weeks im staying in hatiati or something ( I can see the airport from my house). I have never been here and was just wondering if there are anymust sees from a biker or non-biker point of view, hopefully I will be able to see the "real" thursday night ride boys.

Te Papa's worth a wander around, then it's only a short stroll to the Shed22 brewpub for a pint of Sassy Red

    3 rides;
    Rimutaka/Kaitoke hill
    Akatarawa road
    Paekakariki hill road

    and possibly Karori/Makara/Johnsonville road

    If ya like the twisty's.

There's a seal colony round Red Rocks (south coast). There's Te Papa (of course). The Days Bay ferry will take ya out to Somes/Matiu Island (It's an island...). Karori Wildlife Sanctury - new improved with Tuatara's! Some bars and theatre's and shit too.

Oh and we have our own one tree hill but it's not a tree it's a wind turbine ... that only occasionally turns ..... not much wind here...

You still coming down my way?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late

Check the package for what is on ( http://www.thepackage.co.nz/ ) .

    Otherwise

Museam of city and sea - on the wharf near the events centre
City art gallery - civic square
Take the parliament tour, starts every hour I think. They are in session at the moment, but it's interesting anyway.
Botanic Gardens - Take the cable car up
Dowse Art Museam - In Lower Hutt, not hard to find
A movie at the Embassy - But the movies on at the moment seem weak to me.
Getting shitfaced on Courtnay Place on a Friday or Saturday

Or, on a nice day like today, just walk down Lambton Quay then to the end of Cuba St and just look at the eye candy...

I hear there's a big gay scene in Wellington. You could always go out and indulge your voracious appetite for man-sausage.

Courtesy of 'that other' thread, I know you are looking forward to getting some bush trimmed....but what's this about bringing his own ho' ??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
