    was out christmas shopping the other day and got great service from a chick but to me she sounded like she was hung over or something, wasn't really paying much attention as a mate was dealing with her, he would occasionally have to repeat himself but she was incredibly helpful while appearing to be unattentive.....

    relised the girl was deaf and the reason she kept missing what he was saying was that she couldn't see his mouth. I was thoughrly impressed that she still managed great service, in a busy retiail store at christmas, whilst managing a disability when able bodied people are often crap

    Too true... that can be hard as well...

    I used to work with a deaf chick a few years back, could see she was struggling when we were out in the pub with about 10 different conversations going on.
