No - I got that info reading experts opinions in various articles and books and talking to riders who are skilled enough to know what they're on about.

You first become an expert on a slower bike then buy a bigger bike. Death says it, WT says it, all racers say it, Yoshi says it, Frosty says it, MR says it, Slob says it, the BRONZ instructors say it, bike cops say it...... fuck you are the only old coot that says otherwise and no offence SPB - but I'm pretty confident that you're the slowest GSXR1000 rider on KB, you even got passed and thrashed by an older 600 at puke - so piss off and no thanks for the red rep.

To be honest it scares the shit out of me.

Enjoy it, but not too much.

You need to buy Valentino Rossi's DVD. Check out all the wipeouts he's had - absolutely shitloads!
Even though he's wiped out so much, It's probably still fair to call him an expert, for if he's not, no one is!

True, I guess falling off on the track is due to a loss of control!
and falling off on the road is due to....... a non-loss of control????

Damn, It never pays to think about things - I'll just take your word for it!

Mine get taken off me before I'm allowed to trash them unfortunately.

My theory is this, if you can't ride a 250 quickly and competently, then you'll not ride a 600 quickly. And if you can't do that, there's no way in hell you're going to come to terms with a 1K anytime soon.
