    (Virtual) cigars on me!

Yup, known for about a month now but haven't had the first scan yet (next week) but I can't keep it quiet any longer, I'm going to be a dad again!!

Not my first, I've a 6yr old daughter from a previous relationship who is a big part of my life, but the first for my wife. We're super excited about it, due date around July the 5th next year. Not going to find out the sex either, leave it as a suprise. As long as he/she and mother are healthy, that's all I'm worried about.

My wife being the lovely lady that she is has no problems with me going clubman racing next year despite the new addition so I'm a very happy man all round.

I always wonder why people always say congradulations for a baby...for me anyhow.Like,we've never tried to have babies...we make mistakes and they happen...and I need congradulations for that? The last one spun me out for days and I was in total panic - 4 kids in a 2 bedroom house, what the hell was I going to do! I have friends who have gone to Russia to adopt,my Bro in Law and his wife just had one of those interofertalisation things to have a baby....we get embarrassed that we can't stop them happening.

Oh...congradulations! All my kids were not planned, but they are wanted, and very much loved....all homebirths, all home educated,we have put our whole life into our kids...they have given us a purpose, before we had them life was just a game....

I hear what you're saying Motu. My first was not planned but is very much loved and wanted. My wife and I planned this one, so we are rapt that it's all go. I'm looking forward to the journey this one will take us on.
