    Slicks ROCK

    holy crap!!!

i just put some slicks onto my FXR150 Bucket bike, geared up and went out the local backroads........

the difference is beyond this world!!!. i used to have Conti citys.. so there is a huge huge difference.... i used to be able to 'just' get my knee dwon before it started sliding around on the old tires, now i am having serious ground clearance issues with pegs getting in the way.... and once thats sorted i think the muffler is gonna be a bigger prob.

anyways thanks to Jay Lawrence who supplyed the rear tyre....

if you are thinking about getting slicks....GO FOR IT!!

    Cheers, Glenn

Passed a RS250 Aprilla and a ZXR400 in the wet on slicks on the bucket at Levels, might be different on a RS125 but on the bucket the grip level in the wet is suprisingly high

And to think an extra 500 bucks on new tyres would've probably saved me 1500 bucks and 6 months of my time and I would've completed a race season
