Thread: Darn..

    Darn..

Oh well went to look at some motorbikes today while I was in Whangarei..

Sat on a GN250 and.. erm.. DOH!!!! It was too big! I only just had the tips of my toes on the ground either side of the bike. Not to mention the width of the seat made it extremely uncomfortable for the whole 10 mins I sat there, I can't imagine how it would feel riding the damn thing.. So I'm thinking maybe thats a GN out of the question.

They did whip a bike out from the back of the shop though.. Suzuki GZ250, *hears you all moan*

Comfy, could touch the ground flat feet both sides. Did I forget to mention real comfy? Could reach everything real well, and could very easily stand and hold the bike on my own.

Anyone else own a GZ250? Any thoughts on the bike? And anyone know what sort of price range and approximately what you would get for that sort of money spent on a used GZ. I know this bike was new, 5k.

    Cheers.

    Hey RG,

Not quite prepared yet to throw 5k dosh on a brand new bike, not my first bike anyway. Just isn't me.
Am interested in knowing how much a used GZ sells for though, just to see what sort of money I'm looking at.

    Thanks though.

The VIRAGO 250 is shorter than the GN250 and so damn comfy to sit on...

And loverly to ride.... you can't beat a VIRAGO 250cc Cruiser.

Now you know that I highly recommend the VIRAGO 250 cruiser.

Virago 250s are so comfy and made for people with short (OOPS - I will say no more)

But it's up to you and don't let anyone pressure you!!
Small and dangerous with a sting in my tail!!

both outline suitable bikes with low seat heights, try out an suzuki rg150, i think they have quite a low seat as well, but i haven't sat on one in over 2 years so i could be wrong
