But presumably you really mean ‘you are right’, you can shorten this if you may to ‘you’re right’. The apostrophe takes the place of the missing letter/s.

Anyone in the Manawatu might want to ping "Third Bearing".

There's a guy there - Chris Boyle - very supportive of bike racing - especially BEARS

Even though this was a quick information gathering excise exercise?, it does reflexreflect? on your preparation. Money is the serious side of racing. People that part with their money want something in return. Ten years ago businesses received tax brakes breaks? for sponsorship / advertising, this is no longer.

So the question has to be asked why should someone / business give you money if it doesn’t benefit them? – You have to make them believe and see that it can.

Chin up mate. Its good to see that you give a damm, and that you are starting to realize that racing isn’t cheep cheap?.

    My 2 cents
    err, see above.....

Focus, on racing and track days... Improve your riding. Disect all your laps and races in your head, and think where you can go faster and do it in the next race/track session.

For instance you need to go ALOT faster through Splash (turn 3). You should be going full throttle through turn 1 and turn 2, followed by a quick dab on the brakes before turn 3. Brake later EVERYWHERE. These are the things that you need to be thinking. (i watched your racing when i was watching K14 )

Yourve got the right attitude mate You want to take your racing to its fullest. But dont plan to do international racing next year, plan it in a few years these things take time. Also dont think that your fast or cant take onboard what other racers say. For instance i talk to racers after EVERY race. This is so i can see how i went, where i can improve, techniques they use for different parts of the track etc... Racing is all about learning, so get out there with the attitude "I want to learn"...

Hope this gives you a bit of help mate Dont ever give up, and dont waste your money on modification... My ZXR400 doesnt have any mods and im still consistently in the top 10 of F3 racing at National level...

I was going to try and race a complete season before I go out asking for sponsorship. I want to get some kind of record down on how well I can ride.

Any idea on who I should contact to get sponsored by Hells Pizza? I wouldn't mind my bike painted in the company colours, that would be awesome.

For the record, it's spelt sponsorship.

But it sounds like what you're more interested in is donations. A sponsorship is a two-way relationship from which each party derives measurable benefit. Any credible sponsorship proposal needs to talk as much about what's in it for them as it does about what's in it for you.
