You probably need to have that in your proposal somewhere, but I wouldn't lead with it.

What is it that you will be offering your potential sponsor? Lead with that. You want to firstly get their attention and then build a compelling case as to why you are the best opportunity for them to invest their hard-earned dosh. You need to do more than just telling them that you plan to go fast.

If I was a company owner, and read that (SM.doc), my thought would be:

    So What!

So here's this kid who thinks he's gunna be somebody. Don't they all!

You need to catch their attention with some good, 'Whats in it for them' stuff.
Sure have that as a filler to tell them who you are, but not at the begining or it will hit the bin before they even read anything of interest to them.
(Unless they already know you. then they might read page two!)

    Re: Intro.doc
That would be better. It would at least keep me reading to find out if I was interested.
But maybe you should tell us your secret ideas! Come on! We're all friends here!!

    No it's not like that!

I'm telling you my opinion to help you reach your goal!

Better I give you a hard fact now than have you try with something that a few of us think could have been better, Is't it?

Good on you for doing it.
And good on you for asking our advise before you send it in!
If you don't want my input I will keep quite.

ok thank you .... me feels much better now.

writing a proposal is like 10000000 times harder than what i thought it was gonna be... i still have to get some pics of the bike and the sponsor to do dome super impsoing to show them what it is going to look like when it is signwrited

For instance you need to go ALOT faster through Splash (turn 3). You should be going full throttle through turn 1 and turn 2, followed by a quick dab on the brakes before turn 3. Brake later EVERYWHERE. These are the things that you need to be thinking. (i watched your racing when i was watching K14 )

Yourve got the right attitude mate You want to take your racing to its fullest. But dont plan to do international racing next year, plan it in a few years these things take time. Also dont think that your fast or cant take onboard what other racers say. For instance i talk to racers after EVERY race. This is so i can see how i went, where i can improve, techniques they use for different parts of the track etc... Racing is all about learning, so get out there with the attitude "I want to learn"...

Hope this gives you a bit of help mate Dont ever give up, and dont waste your money on modification... My ZXR400 doesnt have any mods and im still consistently in the top 10 of F3 racing at National level...

Yeah I always talk to other riders and that but yeah I just want to start funding to get more track time as alot of people know it is expensive and running 2 bikes aint cheap either it is the same as jays but he had the trick bits on it owned by musuem hotel I didnt get them with the bike the only thing the same is the frame and fairings lol

I even have a book I write in after races I know about Splash but it is the line I take through there and I am trying to learn so much the Aus thing that is a bit out of it but I want to go there to live and be a bike mechanic over there and live in melbourne so yeah

I know it is hard and I need more track time yes but is expensive to travel to a track I am concentrating on Vic Club next year I dont understand why I was doing 1 33's and usally doing 1 24's

You should offer your prospective sponsor opportunities other than just getting your bike and leathers painted.

For example handing flyers out (think RR mentioned that)
