    Guess the location of this shot & whos who

    This pic was taken quite a few years back now, but most southern KBs & maybe a few northern Kbs may know the infamous place
    plus it will put a face to the Sig

    a rep could be up for grabs on picking the place & the face

    Ha the old laverda huh yeah she was a good old beast built from a box of bits ended up with Jota cams etc , Harris race pipe & a few other goodies

    a small clue to the location : its on the way to the Brass (the pic is from 89)

    and the fella wearing the shades, owns the laverda ( which failed to get a warrent cos the high beam didnt work, )

    The date, Autumn 1977 ( cos the yamaha tripple in the background would have been a year or so old )

    HAHA! yeah i'm wearing the shades but 77 mmm B/D'A come on its a 1200 mirage dude they hadn't been produced then & yammie triple is a 850 which came out in late 80 & lols the H/light worked fine sometimes quality bosch electrics you know

    the location mmm it ain't sockburn thats for sure its way further sth than that, & Sniper mmm amberley yeah i know it looks like the 24hr servo there but nah, your warm though its a spot that used to be the best place for a feed on the way down sth & the buildings in the background are part of a Truckstop sth of waitaki river
