As for the other four getting thorugh as dave said i remember that corner and it was pretty shit but experience helped the rest of us through. Don't blame the ride leader. this was an unofficial ride. If noob's wanna come they have to realise that there will be people going faster and slower. On the ride I spent some time following both Sam and Placid. And i can say that although thier technique needed a little work they were riding well within thier limits.
