sorry ain't got any parts left from my old Darmah or MHR, but had to say thats one tidy old round case GT

sourcing parts for it might be a bit of a challenge, might have to look towards Brook Henry in OZ or Desmo Cycle etc

Indeed parts are hard to find..i think Vee Two is pretty much into 8 valve engines now but i did send them my SD engine around 1993 for the full monty.

The GT pic above is just a sample..heres the one i have, but it will get redone to a higher standard than it is now.

oh a sample huh oh well still a minter though, your GT looks as if its had the walnut treatment on the cases? and a fairly recent repaint too by the looks ?

I'm sure Vee Two would still be able to source goodies for Bevels & Brook being the good Kiwi fella he is would surely know where to look.

Desmocycle in Christchurch maybe able to help, the fella Magpie used to run it ( don't know his proper name sorry ) its just a small specialist outfit, no e-mail or web addy, but the Ph number is : (03) 344 1916
could be worth a shot before heading over the ditch looking.

or maybe Motorcycle restorations again in Chch & a small outfit but may be worth a try Ph (03) 365 4892

Desmocycle is run by Phil Sutton and Andrew is at Cycle restoration both did work for me when I had my Darmah and were very good to deal with

Lol you know you dug up a 5 year old thread? The Bikes either fixed or in the bin.

Out of curiosity, did OP find the parts they wanted and get the bike sorted.

    Would love to see pics.
