That doesn't matter. As long as at least one of us has one so we know where to go..."Oh there's a KB shirt"

and sadly its a no go. Bummer, cause I would have loved to have gone and met up with everyone and enjoyed the music.

I was thinking of whipping up on the bike (was there last year) but it is a bit of a mission from Chch just for 4 days. Also, Delirious are a pretty cool band, but I didn't see much of the others that swung it. So at this stage I am no-go but could change my mind later if it is realy tedious at work.

It is a great event, no matter what your persuasion. Plenty of "take it or leave it" and "get involved or not" as you choose. Most people who were there seemed quite normal - don't think I saw one who was clutching a bible with a vacant stare skyward. Definitely worth staying a coupla days if you can rather than just bouncing in and out for a day. Last year there were around 25,000 there so it is hard to find someone even when you know what they look like.
I have just found out that they have removed the word gullible from the dictionary

The last one I went to was the last one at Matamata really enjoyed "Pillar". My boy gave the cd of Amberlin for chrissy, they are going to be awesome. Now to get time off work to go.

Had thought about takin the kids through, went to the Shelterbelts at Te Puke (the pre curser to Parachute) when I was a teenager. They used to bring in a big name band from over seas as a headline act. saw Rez, Whitcross, Darrell Mansfield - whoa, has anyone else just lost 20 years??

Working Saturday and Sunday night shifts pretty well rules it out though.

    Have fun you guys.
