Badcat - tell yer mate congrats on the images; some wikkid shots in there! I like his style...

SPB - those 'mindless cultists' were responsible for the 1st hospitals, the 1st universities, the 1st missionaries that went out... not bad for a bunch of lost sheep aimlessly looking up to the sky talking to themselves.

Re the 'killing in the name of' argument

In a world of no internet and one Bible per thousand (if that), it was priests & bishops who mis-lead/tricked a shed load of people into them unHoly Crusades et al... Sux to be those same priests & bishops/leaders when they meet their Maker!

If you went for a crap on Queen St, saying "i'm doing this in the name of jon", that in no way infers i agree/condone/approve of your action.

Same thing still happens now; governments mis-leading sheep-like nations...people parroting what they've heard/what sounds good.

You've got a brain, so keep using it, keep checking out options etc...

Anyhow, glad to see you're recovering well from the op!

SPB - those 'mindless cultists' were responsible for the 1st hospitals, the 1st universities, the 1st missionaries, the dark ages, the conquistadors, every major war for the last two thousand years and the first choir boy to get butt shagged in the name of God not bad for a bunch of lost sheep aimlessly looking up to the sky talking shit to themselves.

Re the 'killing in the name of' argument

In a world of no internet and one Bible per thousand (if that), it was priests & bishops who mislead/tricked a shed load of people into them unholy Crusades in the name of God... Sux to be those same priests & bishops/leaders when they meet their Maker, they'll have dozens of hail Mary's to repay their sins

If you went for a crap on Queen St, saying "I'm doing this in the name of Jon", that in no way infers i agree/condone/approve of your action, unless you pray before hand then any crime is permitted

Same thing still happens now; Cults and Church's misleading sheep-like nations, killing thousands in tall buildings...people parroting what they've heard/what sounds good.

You've got a brain, so keep using it, keep checking out science it will provide honest peer reviewable answers

Anyhow, glad to see you're recovering well from the op, thank you Eman

    SPB - you're a classic, mate!

(Edit: Just to clarify, not "classic" in the 'oh what a witty comedian' sense, more in the 'what unbelievable spiels you come up with' sense.)

Agreed, Mr Phantom. Remember that one is only old on the outside - on the inside, you're as young as you feel.

    No wrinkles inside, eh.

And I thought I was the last person alive who knew the word whippersnapper

You hardly ever hear it anymore...

Too many young beardlings on this site
