Quasi - cheers mate! I'm not riding up though cause I'm in charge of a whole lot of young uns that we're taking up and so I'm in the vans with them.
But we could pop around for a coffee or whatever if one of the KBers at the festival could give us transport out to your place? Might be a bit of a mission though.

Aaah , Road rash- its still going! I am sure hXc will tell ya all about it tomorrow-expect him home this evening, but on past experience, I'd say he won't be online tonight, but desperately trying to fight the urge to sleeeeep, having had about three hours all w/e. I did hear that it was very hot there.hXc made his usual trip to the hospital-not enough fluid/salt and ended up with severe cramping...this time, tho, he got it over and done with early in the proceedings-Fri night- so he could just kick back for the rest of the time, knowing he'd got that out of the way!

Just got back tonight. Met up with Momentum, hXc, Speights_bud, Holy roller and Darkninja so that was real cool. Good to meet you fellas properly!! Mate - the heat though!!! Woah. Gotta say that I love Wgtn's wind. Had a great time though - the music, shops, worship times (with the bands) and just the general shinanigans.

Quasi - sorry I didn't get in contact mate - I had 31 others in tow so popping over would've been a mission and a half, and I don't have a car licence so I couldn't go into Hamilton for the afternoon. Having a chat under some decent shade with a cold drink would've been really good though! Next time eh.

It would never reach the ground. The concentrated righteous joy in the Lord emanating from the multitudes would keep it in a permanent hover

As to be a Christian you have to make a conscious decision, I would have thought "Mindless Christian" to be a contradiction of terms.

OI SPB - off to 'that' thread with you.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

My daughter went along to this with a bunch of her friends (notice how I did not arrange for her to meet any of YOU GUYS)

Some of you might have picked up already that religion is not my thing, but she had a really fantastic time - so each to their own I guess. It sounded like a great event.

Well I had a great time with a little more than 3 hours of sleep. 4.30-7.00am 1st night, 3-7.00am 2nd night and an all nighter on the third. Was great to meet up with a few KB'ers and put names to faces.

Did the usual crazy stuff - carved a water melon and chucked it on my head, met randoms and made new friends whom I'll never meet/talk to again and on the last night with the allnighter: we sang this song Little White Pony from midnight-6am. So any of you who were there who are wanting to bash any of them - bash me 'cause I kept it going for the last 2 hours!!!

Did any of you guys go to the Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll seminar? I saw the sex and drugs part which was really good. The singer from Day Of Fire talked about his drug experiences. He's done just about everything out there and been to jail and had mates die from drugs and stuff. He's clean now and has found God but he had an interesting take on things. He said that he has been touched by God and he believes fully in God but doesn't believe in any "man-made faith" as such. He doesn't want to be told how to live his life by a book. It was quite scary really because a lot of what he said I agreed with. He's been out in the world and done all the stuff and he knows about it even though he is only quite young. It was cool.

The mosh pits were great this year. Everyone watches out for you and I fell over a few times and got helped up and asked if I was allright. One time I wasn't -I had cramp and couldn't stand up- so this random took me out to the stands and sat me down and said to me "I don't wanna miss this so I'll wait a couple of minutes or so and then go back." I got myself to the hospital and they told me to eat more salt and take a rest for a while.

All in all I had a great time, met a whole lot of new people, most of which I'll forget but one I won't, moshed a lot, yelled/roared/screamed a lot, lost my voice and hopefully I'll go back next year.

Peace hath higher tests of manhood

    than battle ever knew.

    Good on ya, young fella-me-lad.
THAT is what Parachute is about. Good times, good music, good friends. All in a safe environment. Very little to do with religion aye.
