    Welcome, enjoy the zoo!
Because it's so early on a Sunday the animals haven't been let out yet so there's madness to come.

As far as the L plate moniker under your name, don't worry about it. It has to do with the number of posts you have made.
You go through stages like L plate rider, moped rider, fair weather rider..... hardcore rider right up to forum whoredom (see Sniper).
See here for the full listing; http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=747 (click on the link)
Just keep participating in discussions and be part pf the community and your post numbers will rise, you'll get to post a new avatar, the benefits are endless.

Also look for the small scales at the top right of anyones post - if you like what they say or they've helped you you can give them 'rep'. 'I approve' gives green rep (good we like) 'I disapprove' gives red rep (Ooooo bad like)
Apart from that the rest you'll discover as you go.
Cheers see you on a ride sometime maybe - once a get a new bike.....

    Welcome..........
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
