    Arrow Bike Ride - Saturday 18th/Sunday 19th

    UPDATE

Hi all, details for Ride around coromandel loop are as follows:

    Date - Saturday 18th September
    Meeting Place, Autobahn Papakura
    Time - 10am
    Depart - 10:15, 10:30am

    Travel to Kopu Mobil

    Arrive about 12noon
    Travel around Coromandel loop etc
    More etc etc etc
    Come home in one piece

    Hopefully weather is

Only 60 something posts and organised

    Anyone got anything to add?

    Hi All,

I'm keen to get a ride in down to coromandel for a day, was planning on riding down to Whitanga and having a coffee, then riding back later.

The day can be either Saturday or Sunday but not both, hmmm unless its really great weather!!

Ride normally takes me about 1hr 45mins to Cooks Beach. So I'm assuming about 2.5hrs lesiurely ride.

Again it depends on the weather but I've just put the CBR back together and I think it needs a good run. Voice your interest on this one and I'll organise it. Perhpas some of the larger bikes will already have something organised.

I suggest meet at BP beforehand along State High 1 heading south. Probabaly meet about 9-10am.

If anyone has any other suggestions for a possibly shorter route then I'm open to suggestions. Or if anyone wants to travel down from Remuera or Ellersile then let me know as I live close by.

Dude wouldn't that involve...................highway riding . We usually go east coast/hanua way. I don't know if i can make it, got the time but not the dime. I'll have to see how much the carbs will cost to fix first. But if i got a spare $50 then i'll come.

Let me know if you want to borrow my Yoshimura shirt for this one, it's good for an extra 2hp, you'll need it with your cruiser/sightseer tendencies. When is your goldwing being delivered anyway?

Isn't that the shirt that makes u go straight through corners instead of around them ?
