You can take the short loop by going from Tapu to Coroglen,or the 309 road to Whitianga....but I don't think you'll find it any faster on your bike....

Don’t know what happened when we got back to themes on the way home - some how lost everyone at the darn road works. Anyways I headed up SH1 back home.

Yep, was a great ride and perfect weather

Bit of confusion at the start with which way was clockwise...
And at the end with danb not seeing us at the kopu gas station.

Yeah sorry bout that DanB, they all stopped off at the Kopu gas station to watch the cops directing traffic. Hope thos tires are all scrubbed in now man!

That was wered, I was sure I looked at the petrol station and could see no one? WTF lol, Must have been to many dead, smeared and baked on bugs on my helmet - YUCK!! Dinner anyone

Bugs alright, think I took out a whole hive of bees at one point, bit like being hit by a fully automatic BB gun.
