    Wink Ho Ho Ho

Merry Christmas everyone. May you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the spirit of xmas.

It seems that many people think that xmas is to succumb to retail businesses and buy their goods to give as presents. I am however, fairly confident that it will always boil down to be the spending time with family and loved ones that counts most. People will always (by the majority) give gifts, but as we all know, it is the thought that counts, and a gift that suits a certain persons personality or need, and not how many or how much gifts cost that make the difference.

I think telling someone you love them is the biggest gift of all. Make a concerted effort to be with family over these holidays. Had a fallout with a family member and don't speak anymore? Ring them up and just say hi. Life is so delicate and so short, it's true what they say, never go to bed angry.

Again, merry xmas all. Drive/ride safe over the holidays
    Dave

    Hmm... Merry Christmas,

    Novel concept I suppose.

Let's not forget those people that don't like christmas and would happily see it removed from the calender.

Best time of the year for suicides apparently, not everyone does the happy happy joy joy bit.

But I hope those of you who use christmas as something other than a couple of weeks off work drinking have a fun time

    True

As Weasel points out, xmas can be quite the opposite for some people. What they must remember is that it's only a few days of the year, with the rest being there to bring better thing into their lives. Even when things seem at their absolute worst, it's never as bad as one may think (in my opinion).

Everyone has options, options which are different for each person. Never think of taking drastic measures for problems which are easily improved, even if that only means ones perception of it. There are many people here, around you or at appropriate places to talk to. What can it hurt to just have a chat with someone should you ever feel that low? Every single person is special, unique and has something to offer the world. Don't let the dark clouds of stress and/or problems obscure your view of that.

From speaking to people and reading on here for example, 2005 has been a tough and demanding year for alot of people. 2006 is just around the corner, and it feels like a good year to me

Merry Cristmas one and all, just home from work and it wasn't too bad, only one 'domestic' (but it involved a 53km dash to the house) and one suicide attempt that was dealt with by other guys.
And the usual drunk vandals and others with too much Christmas cheer.
    NO crashes
No drink drivers (but I bet there were some out there).

Home now with my younger son and C.B.s younger son, just popped a can of Bulleit bourbon and kicking back and having a look at KB.

Hope Santer Clawers was good to you all.

Happy Merry Christmas to those who observe it, Happy Holidays to those that don't!
As was said before it is a lonely and depressing time for some.
Thea and I have both daughters and sons-in-law with us this year, something we really treasure!
Always in our thoughts are Police (Scumdog and crews), Ambos (RiffRaff, SpeedMedic and crews), Fire Service (Firefight and crews) and all those who cannot spend time at home with their loved ones...

Have a wonderful day EVERYONE on KB - Auckland weather looks good...

    Merry Xmas Cathy.

There's always (nearly always) a bed here for the next tour. And like last time we would tag along for bits if and wherever possible

Aww I luv you too I'm still here, roaming the "halls" of KB, sometimes I open a door and say hi , other times I watch through the glass in the door, and yet again other times I lean against the door and sleep.

I can't be expelled, and I don't want to leave
