    Any word on Peter MacDonald.

Sorry to bring up this nasty topic.

But does anybody know how Peter MacDonald is getting on?

He had an accident and was taken away by ambulance. I only heard about it over the loudspeaker. Everybody I spoke to had no idea how he was.

Best wishes Pete on a quick recovery and here's hoping it's nothing major.

For those of you who don't know - Pete's a good chap, salesman for Wellington Motorcycles and long time motorcycle racer.

Sidecar hit the bales and flipped opposite the pine tree hill. Marshalls stood and gaped like fuckwits as the guy lay under the bike. Two motards tangled over the bridge, one escaped , one hit the wall. A couple of zx10r's wiped out on the bridge too. Lowe one of them. New record when sherriffs broke 59 secs. (on a 6) Triumph and Matchless sidecars were competing for the wildest corner entry. Mcewen, Stroud, Love etc.. were scary fast all day. Weather hot. Plenty of chicky babes. Two 17 year old cops strolling around. The odd joint getting smoked. No aggresive drunks. Cruisy crowd. Two weasel parasite muftis slithering around the roads on the way home.

    small correction there.

The should be he broke 50 sec mark. brilliant piece of riding too. I don't hang round racetracks and don't know any of the riders but on the first lap of his first race I told my wife to look out for that number 56 cause he looked like he knew what he was doing. Good show too.

Some from my Camera . The KB riders all looked good out on the track & had abit of a chat with them between races . Hooked up with SPman after trying to use him as a Berm on the way home . Stopped for a couple of well earnt Beers at a Naki local pub & talked about the Old days & what we use to ride , Argh the good old days ! ,then head off Home .

    Was an interesting day.
How many 21year olds can say that they have binned a 748 Ducati at the Wanganui street races??

    I CAN!!!

Am kinda tired now, so will fill everybody in 2moro.
All i can say, is that im glad the loud mouths on that first corner were impressed. (you know who you are!)

Great day with Kiwibikers out in numbers. Only complaint was the weather forcast was all up the crap and ended up getting a bit sunburnt.

Motard numbers seem to be getting out of hand and they qualify for so many classes. eg if you have a KTM you can ride in Bears/F3/Motard. I like Motards and the racing but although they lap at the same speeds as F3 bikes they just don't look like they should be there.

Craig Sherriffs was the man dominating both F1 and F2 and creating a new lap record, first under 50 seconds. Stroud and Sherriffs battled in most races. Jason McEwen was riding well leading the first Robert (b4 anyone else starts a career in proof reading) Holden 15 lapper for serveral laps.

Terry Fitzgerald was in a class of his own in F3. And Shawn Donnelly was unbeatable in post classics on his Z1000.

Only got a few pics then my camera battery died but here they are:

I think you will find his name was Robert.

Seems you had too much of the bad sun?

Was a very good days racing though.

Thanks I always seem to make slips like that. Maybe its some sort of subconsious thing to see if anyone actually reads my posts. Being your age and from Manawatu you'd know who John Holden is right?

I was actually standing beside someone that was calling Andrew Stroud Aaron Slight. And I slipped up and breifly thought the Australian 600 rider with J on his bike was Jason McEwen.

You can spot the ones with to much free time on here
