During high speed cornering test, the rider hooning around a left-hander (right hand side of the road, they ride/drive on the right there), hanging over the centre line, has to haul his knee and elbow in to (barely) avoid the car coming the other way.
"So, we decided to call it quits and move onto something a bit safer. Like over-blind-crest-in-third-gear-pulling-stand-up-wheelies-with-one-leg-hanging-out.."

you will find that they rarely cross the centre line . Other cars give way to bike and arent aggro in there driving,,, and the mistake at the end I reckon was stupid because they were tired!
We didnt see how they broke that bike in 2 !
Try splitting lanes in NZ and see how far you get !! next thing you know there would be a sh1tbox of a honda civic trying to follow you through the gap cos his Manas been dented !

BTW one of those riders is now in Motogp ( or was ) so I figures he can handle the bikes ok !!!( and the bikes would have been set up properly in the first place )
