Was trying to offer this to everyone on Kiwibiker first but my Dad's been pretty stuborn and is trying to sell it as quick as possible (why, I'm not sure) so put it on Trademe. Since my Dad wants it to go, it's selling way cheaper than it's worth. You could even buy it and sell it on Trademe for $6500 if you really wanted to piss me off (hear that dealers? Colemans? Red Baron?). It has had a few falls but all damage was cosmetic and has been repaired professionally. Bike looks mint, goes perfectly, very quick and great fun to ride. I'm going to miss it, best bike I've ever ridden

Have you seen dealers prices lately? One store in palmerston north had a RR with 88,000ks for $5500, and another store in Otago currently has a Single R model with 60,000ks for $5750. Nice condition bikes like mine are going for $6000+. Seeing these I would want to sell it for more cause I have put a lot of work into making this bike look good and it really does look most excellent now, but my Dad is being fair by having a relatively low reserve and then let the market decide how much it should go for

Yeah well thats what i thought when I sold mine, was better condition than yours and hadn't been raced/crashed. After 3 months i managed to get $4600 for it, that was about the best I could get. Depends how long a time frame you've got to sell it. Hold out and you might get that price.

$4700 was all my Dad wanted for it and we've been pretty lucky to get that. It's still a better deal than what most dealers have. 250 prices seem to have jumped up the last 6 months, possibly with more people getting into bikes because of fuel costs

I thought it was fucked? like cracked cases and shit? was it fully repaired i.e replaced or sumin? new engine etc? because otherwise you'd want to state the damages...

All damage was cosmetic. The right hand crankcase cover had a few deep scratches and the cover has been replaced. The fairings have been restored and look better than when I got the bike. The tank recieved a dent but thats all fixed up now and looks better than before (before it had a few paint spill marks). The bike wasn't harmed structurally.

Suppose I should put this all up on the auction. This bike has been a mistake since day 1. I should've just rode it into a brick wall and claim the insurance. Even the bike I was going to replace it with was a mistake too. Why do I even bother?
