Nope - it's just the way shifts have worked this year. Next year I get Christmas day. I'm permanently at Manukau station now so South Auckland is my stomping ground.

No HQ im afraid. However, im seriously considering moving to west auckland, buying a V8 tow truck and changing my name to Shane. The missis dosnt like the plan coz she dosnt want to be Charline

I am doing absolutely nothing, sitting at home twiddling my fingers. Bear in mind I'm 25 now, so the good years are behind me. I just hope the young'uns in our street don't keep me up when I go to bed, around 2am.

I can't complain though, doing nothing is better than working, or worse, being on call! I feel for you guys, not being able to drink, or shoot up for fear of being called out... THAT is one major reason why I left the I.T. field (admitedly AFTER I finished studying). The field changes so damn fast, requiring you to constantly requalify. That and the fact that jobs are scarce in SA.

ANYway, don't drink and drive, and enjoy your new years eve, wherever you are.

That weed passed my house bout an hour back. Not a real exciting night, but im just glad im not at work. Aaaaah, four day holiday.....
