Was good to see you again Jill, didn't actually see you riding during the course of the morning though, as I was way up the front. Tks for volunteering to be T.E.C, but the pace was good wasn't it,

Pace was excellent with good riding skills from everyone too.

I enjoy the earlyish morning starts, several riders have made know their displeasure about meeting at 9, but i'd even like to see a 7 or 8am start on the next one. Great time of the day to ride cos there's little traffic about, next to none on the open roads, and it's a such beautiful time of the day...if it's dry that is.

I agree. Early morning starts are fine by me. Specially over summer with the heat.

100kmph is a very restrictive open road speed for *our* kind of bikes! :shifty

Aye, well, on the way down I had to briefly relinquish my job of tail-end-charlie through that section...

i must say dickhead cager of the day though went to a remuera teenager driving mummy's suv, pulling out of the pauanui turnoff, crossing the road BETWEEN zed and me. and we weren't fucking around either. man did the kids (4 or 5 of them in in) look scared. i think he found the gas instead of the brake.

some of us had to do a 10 hour shift when we got home!!!

And a close 2nd would have to be ze blind Germanz who nearly backed over my bike at the Tairua servo...i yelled out a rather loud "HEY" when he was a mere foot away in his reversing stupor!

and a third was the guy on the sp2 being taken out by a car coming out of a sideroad. never stopped just turned on to the road
