    Weed Whacker

    Hey guys..

Well I've got a bit of time off work for Christmas etc... and trying to get some gardening sorted with all the weeds and the grass and crap.

So... long story short... anyone got a weed whacker / strimmer I can borrow for a day or so to give the forest a trimming?

Can pickup from the Auckland area.

    Cheers.

Got a nice one down here. Ryobi, comes with interchangable bits. Have the string trimmer, blade trimmer, edger, and branch-saw attachments. Too bad I'm too far away for ya lol.

Yup, have 2 string trimmers. Cheeeepie ones - is it grass or jungle - they won't do brush and trees. Also have an electric one, which could also be yours if I can find it again.

It's just really long grass... too long for a lawnmower... too short for shears...

Only a fairly small patch... wouldn't need it more than an afternoon.

Cheers for the offer... decided to get off my ass and buy on a couple days back.

Chopped it all back now... just wait for it to spring up and then attack it again
