Just to clarify, im pretty sure he was talking bout bucket class sidecars

That's clarifying? Who is 'he'? You mean Team Cudby? Yeah he was talking about bucket sidecars, or did you mean the organiser? No mention of sidecars of any sort. To be honest sidecars do seem to have died. Really for the last few years there haven't been 2 to rub together. It is a pity but not much can do about it.

    It's pretty tempting.
What kind of question is that? I raced buckets 2 days after getting my cast off my wrist. Didn't have any problems, just make sure you take a few panadol before and don't fall off.

yeah, harden up, I raced the Bucket GP 2 weeks after breaking my ribs, while they were still obviously broken (especially after moving my girlfriend in a few days after doing them). Just take a few Voltarin, but no more than that because they make you a bit surreal.

I just don't fancy falling on it. I had a couple of weeks riding with a sore wirst before the broken bit was diagnosed, so it's just the falling part I care about.

    Ok try again...

I was just making sure you all realised team cudby was talking about bucket sidecars, not full sized race sidecars.
Reason I attempted to clarify is because there are so few bucket sidecars left, so most people new to buckets would not know about them.

Ill go back to my corner now, sir

Yeah it does seem a shame, the first GP I raced in there were at least 10 in the race. I would have seen at least 30 different rigs over the years.

Last time they ran at the GP was about 3 years ago (or was it the 2hr?) There were 3 (yeah must have been the ½hr support race at the 2hr in Auckers). They started with 3 but not long before they were down a few, never more than 2 on the track at the same time & later a period of ~ 5min where they were all absent until one got back going again.

So I wonder where all these sidecars are? Probably thrown away, too big to stay in the garage all them years.

Well i know mike (team cudby) has one. But he stole the engine out of it and now MSTRS has it in a 2 wheeled bucket. As far as i know, mike is trying to sell the rig at a fairly cheap price. I would buy it, but have noone to race, and they wont let them out on our track

The back cct was reputably commissioned for Toyota’s testing & consequently pretty tight & dead flat. Just like most roads. Still not complaining, suits us fine & the small connecting road to link it up is nice & curved.

yeah I agree it is real tight and some are real flat out the hairpin is gonna be a crash site all day I can see it everyone drops it there its tighter than you think I washed the street stock out there

I will spread the word down here and see if we can organise something, but only if you promise not to beat us by to much

I think MSTRS got it running. Had a fuel problem when he got it and resold it.
