12th Thurs Jan - Auckland to Wellington (Travel buddy / Bed in Wellington)

I'll be travelling from Auckland to Wellington via the back roads -> national park -> Wanganui -> SH1 to Wellington on the 12th.

Anyone heading the same way that day?

I'll be meeting up with Velox and VasalineWarrior + friends to head to Nelson on the 13th... so am looking for a bed on the night of the 12th and 15th when we come back.

If any of the Wellington crew free on the 12th evening would be great to share a meal with and talk stuff...

Perhaps even Skelstar can test ride a CB900 too

dude the 12th is our trtnr (the real thursday night ride).

im not 100% sure if there will be one on but there probably will be so you might as well come and meet all of us, just check the forums for it. advertise it too so that we get a good turn out!

Assuming you guys are heading North.... (South is the sea in Wellington) perhaps I can meet up with you guys at your northern most point? and ride back to Wellington with the crew?

Oh and where is a cheap place to buy tires in Wellington? Might need a set before coming back to Auckland on Monday after... tkns

We usually meet for the rides at 6 pm and leave at about 6:30. The route is decided while we are meeting, could be anywhere really. 'takas, wainui beach, i cant think of anywehre else but there is places.

Guess I have to be there before 6 then... otherwise I'll grab ur number for the feed after... seeing I am taking the more senic route from National park and Wanga..

We meet at Mungaraki carpark, its at the bottom of Dowse Drive ( the street off the motorway up to Mungaraki).
