Approx how many riding hours south of Auckland are you fellas? 4hrs? I've heard that it's just 2-2.5hrs past Taupo............. I may be able to seek recruits....

2hrs from taupo? maby on a gn250! can be done in under an hour, but there has been shitloads of highway nazis on the napier side of that road lately. I counted 7 on way home from last trackday! narrowly missed gettn clocked in excess of 180! Never felt the urge to ride to auckland, so cant help with an overall time. Recruit away... Would sugest some of ya sending away for prepaid tickets... dont think itll be a problem, but it sounds like theres gonna be a few hundred people more than any other year. Party on i say!

There is gate sales! so you can just rock up. The point i was makin is that is is gonna be huge this year, and i dont know if they have a limit for people at the venue. Just thinkn that it would suck to ride that whole way only to find it too full. NEVER heard of it happening before, just playing it safe. You will have a week to recover, should be no worries... Tell everyone else theres no excuse! strippers of both genders and nude jellywrestling, what more could you want from a weekend?

There is no organised ride, and it is only a one night rally.. as the name sugests. The games and stuff normally start bout 1pm, and the bands about 5ish. If you want to ride down Friday, i can ofer you space at my house to stay friday night then ride out to the rally on saturday morning.

Sweet, so there is no need to push getting there, which makes the ride from Tauranga on Sat morning the best option Thanks for the bed offers anyway dudes Will see you all down there when we arrive.
