I know this has been done in threads before but I am currently smitten by Mac's Wicked Blonde.
According to the label it has "hints of citrus fruits and marmalade, wickedly balanced with hoppy bitterness."
    Dunno about that but it has got heaps of flavour and I I I I I I I I I like it!!!
And, and by crikey, I think it's true, why yes indeed there's one sitting in front of me now!
Try it, you know you want to.

Wicked Blonde is 'er' wicked. I am rather partial to their Sassy Red. Right tasty that is.

Most of what i drink these days is home brewed - it was that or give up drinking ($$$). In the usual manner of these things, I have spent so much on gear and bits and beer stuf, it would have been cheaper to keep buying, and better for my waistline.
At present there is half a keg (saves washing bottles) of all malt english Sherwood bitter in the fridge, some chocolate stout on the shelf and a Macs Brown, a John Bull cider and soem other stuff maturing. Haven't been home so
    supplies have run down.

That's a very detailed response Geoff, thank you for sharing with the group.

Mr Poos however is still reluctant to share and I fear that he is regressing into a state known to workers in this field as 'tui-linked paranoia'.
This is a condition in which the patient believes that we're coming to get you Mr Poos all other people that don't share his we're going to pull down your trousers Mr Poos preference in alcoholic beverage we're going to make you squeal like a pig Mr Poos are in some way out to get them vaseline will be your friend Mr Poos in some deviant manner.
Poppycock of course but the poor unfortunate wretches are almost lost to reason.

Dam awesome German Beer that. Had it for the first time Wed Night with et-wa . They showed me how to drink properly (got to pore it right or you don't get the full flavour) The Pizza Barn in Waipu has it. Would love to know if there is any Booze Shop that stocks this, cause I'd like to get some more.

I'm a Tui lad through and through (In my room at the moment are a A2 Tui poster, a 4-5ish foot long corrugated platistc Tui sign, a Tui Bedspread & pillowcase on the bed, assorted Tui clothing, a Tui gnome, and I have an inflatable Tui couch as well.

I'm also quite partial to a Waikato, when I first moved here I had illusions about it being made with dirty Waikato river water, but once I started drinking it I found I actually quite enjoy it.. Not as much as Tui mind you thou.

Lately I've also been experimenting with various beers (no its NOT just an excuse to get pissed), trying to broaden my horizons a bit.

    In no particular order:
Grolsch: Not too bad, my favouite of the euro type beers, but I still wouldnt rush out and buy it.
Stella: The only other euro type beer I'll drink without it being free. You can keep your Heinies, Steinies, and other such things.
Cardrona Gold by Wanaka Beerworks.. Fucking hard to find beer! Only ever had it 3 times but was seriously impressed by it.
Macs Wicked Blonde: Not a bad wee drop, got 3 free 6packs through a competition, and have brought a few more since as I enjoyed it.
Monteiths Radler: Doesnt really even taste like beer as we know it, but fuck me its good. Its Currently my favourite hot weather tipple.
Macs gold: Not a bad beer, but its price point is roughly the same as Tui, DB,
etc and I prefer Tui and Waikato for my mass consumption beer.
Other beers off the top of my head I can think of that I've tried and wernt shit are Victoria Bitter, DB, Export Gold, Speights, Corona, Sol, Monteiths Black, Monteiths Red, I also used to drink alot of Lion Brown in my younger days but kind of went off it as I got older.

I'll give most beers a go, the only things I've found over the years that I really havnt liked are the steinlager/heineken type euro beers (with a few exceptions noted above), Lion Red (great ads but SHIT beer), and a oversized bottle of Chocolate beer I brought randomly to try a few years back.

My 2 cents anyways.. I'd definitly encourage some of you to experiment with your beers a bit more, you'll be surprised at what you find out there thats good. And hey if you hate it you can always give it to your mates when they come around *grin*
