Well have been thinking about making one for along time now so finally got of my arse today & built one from scratch took awhile very fussy ya see . While I had the Plastic off I thought I'd do the Swingarm Pivot's linkages etc with some Water proof grease . Shit they where boody DRY , Mate done his as well on his K4 & his bike is only new 1 year old & his where pretty DRY to .So check yours !!!!!!!! Anyway here are some Pics of what I made & how it looks in the bike . If ya don't have one then you should look at getting one as afew on here have Holed there Radiators on their GSXR as they are bloody thin !! .

    Guard

Watch for small stones that get caught between the guard & radiator as they can wedge in & hole the rad.

I made mine for the RF with some thinner stainless mesh, it's still bloody tough though, bought it from Mico, but had to buy some extra. 'bout $50. I lined the cut edges with some rubber edge strip & cable tied it on.

Do check that it isn't chattering against a thin vain of the radiator though, the vibration will cut through an ally rad real quick. This happened on my RZ with the std plasitc guard over time as it was a bit close.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Made mine sit about 8mm from the radiator itself so should be OK
