Not too sure what you mean by brakes, whadda they do ,slow you down or something? Last thing i used to slow down was a nasty crest out Kauia way, that did the trick alright.

I'm in Titirangi, if you want I'd be happy to meet up. I don't think I've been there before either, but looks easy enough to get to. Simplest way from here would be to take the motorway into the city/port exit, head along tamaki drive then turn right just after the small bridge into Ngapipi road and continue straight into kepa road at the roundabout. Then it's just a matter of spotting the place.
