That's a yes at this stage. Understand this is a feeler at this stage?

    How long for. Where too?
(Have to cover Buller, Lewis, West Coast at the least.. )

    Go to Bluff?

Just ideas for discussion unless you've got some already

A feeler yes! I hate being told what to do and when to do it so this would be a loose group.... I reckon (say) 10 easy days staying in cheap accomodation and lots of time for side trips and fun activities etc.

10 or more gets good ferry discounts and possibly accomodation.

We would establish some dates and I would expect everyone to make a deposit so we could book the ferry as a group and get the discount.

Then we set out a route, say, no more than 500km a day with a day off some place??

Go as fast as you like but the official pace / distance must be suitable for 250cc bikes and pillions. PLUS contigency for foul weather.

Oh, what a wonderful idea, well Paul, IF we can get someone to look after the kids and IF finances allow at the time and also work commitments, then we could also be a goer, unfortunately for us the IF's are so IFFY, but it's a very very tempting thought.
This sort of non committal reply is a real pain in the ass isn't it?, sorry. Please give more details regarding costs, travel intinery and general points worth noting.

I too would have my full by then........

But how about pre-poning it to Jan, as by March most of us would be back at work for the year...... and it would be difficult for us common people to get time off a few weeks after coming back from the Hols??

Huhwadyathink? We will also have more summer like weather than we would in March...... and this is the colder bit of Aotearoa isn't it?

March is the most stable weather time.
    Don't take holidays over Christmas...
