Now haggis i have tasted, lived in Vegas for many years, opening night of Camarons bar (think its closed now) haggis /pipes etc, well had a bit to drink by the time the scottish feast (not that fancy) come around, and it was yum, that i could do again.

Geez...this small world keeps getting smaller. We probably know some of the same people as my old neighbors are from Warkworth, they still go and stay up there for the holidays. I remember Camerons Bar too....sort of...had some bruises to remind me of tumbling down the stairs anyway.

I left rotorua in 1999, spent 12 months in Papatoetoe, food was good there then up here to Warkworth, now the food here is the best, my lovely lady really can cook, and so can i Anne will probably know your friends, she has lived since 1980...

Look at it this way - if you read the label it's a fairly high protein snack. I've seen it (pet food) processed and I can tell ya it's cooked and packed very hygenically (sp).

When I was farming in central hawkes bay a number of years ago...any cow that died and was fresh or had a disease or illness or injury that was too hard on the cow I'll shoot them...chuck em on a trailer and drive them straight to the pet food factory....they'll take anything as long as it was warm...if it had been given drugs [the cow] you need a vet certificate detailing the drugs and contraindacations of them...but it was a easy $100.

Another thing I would like to add...I knew the night manager at hawkesbay protien...ewwwwwww...you do not want to eat fish flavored cat food or high protien animal feeds once you know what they put in their vats !!!!!!!!!

and man eating cat food thats just nasty.

i got dared to eat those little dog biscuit pebble thingys recently...

they tasted like the warehouse garden centre smells if you get what i mean

was worth the 2 cookies and a rollup though....but never again it was just horrible :slap:

Yeah,I worked at Bombay pet foods a few years ago.
Could drop a cow an have four quarters hanging on the hooks in 15 minites.
Some of the disease ridden flaming things we processed would make these cat food eaters vomit just looking at them
They should be made to take a look and a smell of a cow thats had selmonella for a week.

In a rush today, I went to the cupboard, with the phone wedged between my shoulder and ear, wondering what the kids were giggling about in the next room, and thinking to myself, "I'm hungry, I feel like some tuna".
My wife buys all sorts of tuna, with fancy flavours in it, and all different shapes, sizes, and colours. I open the drawer we keep the tuna in, grab the first tin, still with the phone on my ear, and sit down, and rip the lid off the tin, and stick a fork in it.

About 3 mouthfuls later (yes it took that long), I look down at the label of what has to be the worst flavour of tuna yet, to see the words "Fancy Feast".
