Well, no, probably not - at least not until you can afford to fix it if you break it. You'll prolly beat my 1:17 on your first lap out on the R6 anyways.Originally Posted by gareth_d

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Meh, see you guys there.
Well I'm neither young nor cool, but I had a great time. Thanks for setting it up Gareth.
I really enjoyed that ride, thanks for organising it Gareth and making sure no old boring farts came alongNice to meet some new faces.
Sorry I missed the ride, there was a road accident of some kind at the end of old north which meant I had to double back to Waimauku and take SH16 to Westgate from there. You guys must have already left by the time I finally made it there. I ended up doing a bit of exploring around the senic drive area, including Huia, Piha and Bethels beach. Some really good roads around those ways. Saw quite a few bikes but mostly cruisers and turkeys on mini choppers.
Hope you guys enjoyed your ride.

yeh, we got held up a little buy some guys on cruisers on the ride back along scenic drive.
Saw a few goldwings before we left, hoped it was rhino coming to show us how its done but alas none of them pulled in.
Was a good bit of fun, especially watching dave discover what vinegar in a bottle is! :slap:

Pity I missed this one, had lunch with the family as it was my grandmother's 81st birthday today. Oh well, maybe next time to ride and meet you all.

Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
Thanks for organising that gareth, it was a good little ride.
Here's a couple of pics at Piha.
Was that you behind me after turning around because of the accident?...Originally Posted by chickenfunkstar
Yeah it was. I thought that number plate seemed familiar. Anything exciting down that road you turned down before Kuemu?Originally Posted by Devil
