How about a tankbag? Pretty cheap and they don't get in the way.........

As for the "GRAVEL" report - Last time I rode up there the gravel was a fine grade and was fine for riding on. I will make enquires with the clan up north for the recent conditions........

Anyway, you don't have to ride on the gravel if you do not wish to (as stated in the first post!!!) - I will have a spare seat if need be or you can chill out at the Waitiki Landing Shop till we get back.

I'd offer to pillion any rider too soft to ride it, but feel that any rider that soft should stay in Dorkland

Summed up nicely. If you wanna come, thats fine - I just don't want to hear any grissels about where we are going......

Naa - I'm gonna take off my fairings as I said before to stop my paint getting scratched. Taping up the head lights may be a good idea too..... those broken headlights are expensive bastards

Sounds like you wanna take a bin.................. Thats not very positive! The 250's are easier to ride on un-sealed roads than the bigger bikes, so you have the upper hand on me for starters.....

Don't worry - I'm a nana slow poke. Just want to protect my precious.

Got a broken headlight from riding on gravel on a KB ride up north and several cracks in my front screen on the ZZR.

Looking forward to meeting up with you guys on our playground. Love any chance to go through the Waipoua Forest for a ride, it's awesome. And the stint from Omapere to Kaikohe is a beautiful fast track. All sounds pretty organised QChk, good on you for putting it forward for all the rest of the sheep to enjoy (by the way you guys, leave our sheep alone, they are already spoken for).

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

I've been riding up these ways for a decade and as long as ya don't ride directly behind the dood(ette) ahead you'll be right.

Well that's shit hot! We are getting somewhere.... hey JSG why don't you just put that 3M stuff all over the fairings while you are there?

To tell the truth, I have some anti-scratch shit on the tank and it shows more scratches than the rest of the bike Oh well.
