Norton wouldn't be able to remove malware/spyware or any other ware even if a first year wrote it. Horrible program you fork out big money for that does a shitty job.

Norton does stuff when you don't want it too and doesn't when something is wrong best bet i went with is mcafee which blocks EVERYTHING

Yep, AVG is good. But none of them will pick up everything. NOD is one of the better ones but it is expensive. If you can run 2 different antivirus systems, that would be best. But the first one you install will often block the 2ndOriginally Posted by kronos

I read somewhere the uninstaller installs something else which can't be uninstalled.

90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.
Norton also has this neat habit of fucking with your registry and not un-installing completely.
