    Yeah man I cant find the size specs or any formula for working out muffler did you have one or just randomised it?

    It's actually a new form of customisation it's called randomisation.

    It's where we take totally random things made of metal and ram dem on.!

    Header pipe 30mm ID, 660mm long
    first cone 30mmID, 330mm long to 75mm ID
    second cone 75mm ID, 70mm long to 60mm ID

    To be honest Gav if yo have to aks den yo can't afford.
    Nah just kidding.
    I've probably spent about 8 hrs solid to make the two above so far(excluding the maths so far done by others but i'm working on that). I'm going to redo one of the transitions to smooth it out and weld on the back mounts, spring hooks and thats it.
    Materials (for two) about $50. I have access to a sheet metal shop cos of my job to roll the cones and the dude just hides the costs. That takes a bit of time but I haven't actually watched him so I couldn't say for sure. Getting the headers bent is the trick. Because we use imperial sized tube in NZ you'll need to use 1 1/4 inch OD with the .9mm wall. We used 1mm. I haven't been able to get these done yet but I've welded some old headers so at least I can use them and I have a pattern for the bigger tubing.
    Is this for a single Gav? If so you could probably build something for about $100.
    Thats a long header and short cone compared to mine your reverse cone is also a lot longer, mmm me thinks maybe a few less revs than me???

    I was right about the revs. Do you know what sort of revs the GN pulls? Mine revs to about 11300 and did make usable power from 6, might be a bit different know though.

    I know those FXr's rev fairly high so i reckon from the little I do know you might need to make the header a bit shorter and the first cone maybe a little longer.
    I take it Kick has done some noise supression with the end of his system?
    You'd probably have to do that if you race at Ruapuna wouldn't you 95dB?



    I might have to do that with mine but let me race it just once!


    BTW when you next see Kickaha, pass on that I reckon thats a Phat GN Racer, wicked!

    Dunno how high it revs the revcounter only goes to 12000
