Hey guys i found out that my "bucket" *Ahem* *Cough* yes my bucket since this is a bucket thread... Of course its not my RG150...

    Anywho

I whip out the plug out of my bike and found that it was running a colder plug a B7ES (Slightly colder) and noticed the piece of metal at the top was completely dry.
Is this normal or is it running too lean / rich?

Ive put in a B8ES for now (normal type)

Have a look at the plug reading guide I have here. See how it compares.

Cheers looks pretty dark too me and dry.

My bike seems to be lacking any top end power like it wont rev pass 11k and doesnt seem to have that powerband hit like other RG's could this be a sign of it running too lean. also noteably the exhaust has no baffles in it.

I got AJ tonight to adjust the powervalve timing to spec. Not much improvement.

    Maybe it could be rings?

Any ideas (sorry its not a bucket! close enough tho)
    Much appreciated

It could depend on alot of things itshard to see your photo....

If its black it is most likely rich

For a perfect plug reading you want it to be slight tan coloured,

Butthe thing is I wouldnt worry to much your bike goes good, muck around playing with jets and you couold cause some damage

I mean if you were racing it then yeah you wantit good but for the road pffft who cares

Stop polluting OUR thread boy... You've made 466 posts in this thread so far and you STILL don't have a bucket you've built that you're raced at one of the meetings. Hush now until you do.

Less than the length of the enduro without needing some kind of repair
