Ill do an oil change as i think the twat that owned it before me put car oil in it.

And i want to check and see if my kips powervalves are working, as it feels that they dont open up sometimes because the powerband is flat, but then other times its quite snappy ??

That could be it but getting a hard time from the racestarts you did etcetc and if that TWAT dropped the clutch it doesntneed tobeoldI can feel that the DR is doing it again and the basket is only a few hours old

Ah yes . . . the old "diagnose my problem, here's half the info" trick.

I've had good results with Motul Transoil, noticeably better transmission and clutch by switching to it. It might take a bit to work it's way into the ckutch.

I just put some spectro 'clutch saver' oil in it today.....

and my god, a product that acctually works!!!

The clutch does not slip at all now!! YAY

Now..... to sort those crappy power valves.

Is it possible to just get some blanks made up to fill the holes and run no powervalves??

Try AMSOIL. and it will last alot longer and man is it thin and doesn't seem to brake down like other oils.
if you have a chance have a look at the pdf below its worth a read when considering different oils.

. I think that the closest supplier is in wanganui. but he will send anywhere in the country.

    Top man, Top oil.
I know this might not mean much, but I've used amsoil in most of my bikes & karts; and it is top shit.

If you cant put an engine together without having the Cam sproket fall off, then your doing something wrong.
