It was what we had at the time. Noone had got into using YZ/RM/KX/CR ignitions back then. One good thing was that crankshaft inertia was reduced heaps as there wasn't any flywheel at all. The battery weighed a bit but I could have used a smaller one for sure. A YZ80 ignition is far simpler plus it retards as revs rise which is good.Originally Posted by Ivan

Me and RG100!! set to work!!
RG 50 has now had a Honda RS125 rear shock put in it. Just pressing on the back end feels alot better not much surgery was needed either to get it to fit just needed the grinder here and there and a some washersand it popped right in.
Then we took the standered wiring loom out and run a straight wire from the points this made it alot lighter took off the oil pump so it is now premix and took out the gay SUZUKI dash and put in an Aprillia![]()
Now I am going to run an internal rotor flywheel MX style and run a Honda RS125 tail fairing its going to be mad pics to come
