    Meeky Mouse-

Buckets can be as cheap as you want or as expensive as you want.

Normally getting a bucket means you like stuffing around with mechanical stuff,
Or if you just want to go and enjoy riding without getting you hands dirty, Just get a FXR150.

They are simple. Put gas in and ride.

They are a bit pricey to buy (normally around $1000 for a crashed road one)

But keep your eye out and you can find a cheap one for $500 or less.

With a bike like a FXR, it would cost you Fuel and entry fees. Which is not a great deal of $$$.

My AX100 cost me $100. If I hadn't done the work myself it would have cost maybe $800-1000 to buy the bits I've changed and get someone to fit them over the last year. As I did everything myself the parts have mostly been given to me (because I turn up and race) and cost maybe $200 to fit.
It all depends on what you can do, what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

You need good one piece or zip-together two piece leathers and a competion license.

Bikes and 50cc for F5, 100-125cc two stroke or 150cc four stroke for F4.

Best idea is the find a good existing bucket that is for sale if you want to fiddle or buy an FXR150 if you don't.

    haha.

    They aren't slow.

The power is progressive, yeah thats it. Progressive.

The only reason it was heavy was cause you were sitting on it!!

My Bucket started off as a blown up $250.00 ZXR250,pulled the engine out, sold most of the road gear, for a huge profit,I have put a Honda GL145 motor in it,painted the thing myself, put some new tyres on & away we go
I got a really hard time the first meeting I turned up to as it was all one colour & as they reckoned too pretty to be a bucket, but showed them all by winning the first race
Its just a shame there is nowhere to use them anymore, the Kart club wants $1000.00 per day to use Kaitoke
The other thing I put on it was,I had a damaged carbon fibre Akrapovic muffler, which I cut down, looks & sounds cool
But now just sits in the garage with all the other toys

Here is a very famous Sprozen quote

"Its only cheating when you are caught"

    Heres another

"Which way does the track go & whats the lap record"

What size motor does he run in his Bucket, hmmmmmm let me see??

I hope you dont pick uo too many of his bad habits

haha. Yes he tried to convince me to cheat when i was doing streetstocks.

" ahhh you wont get caught... and everyone else will be cheating "

The bog stock KRR did a pretty good job, except the crappy front forks, flexy frame, and crap ground clearance...

Ohhh. His 'new' motor for his bucket.

He claims that thing is so hotted up.. he's not even going to let me know whats happening inside.

AND, He has a 'real' mechanic putting it together so it should last more than a few laps this time.

Once he gets this going, he will be more motivated to organise some races.
