Currently have the barrel of my AX and am going to take it to a mate later on to see if he knows what I should do to it i have a rough idea but I dont want to wrck it so I dont touch the bore and adjust the shape of the port unless I canget another AX barrel

As you can see in skunks pics the exhaust port is small and sqaure right by the exhaust header should I make this round to get more flow and a better match up to my header pipe

Not if you're just getting to bugger up the port timing...

No, I dontmeanit that way leave the port thestandered shape but deep inside the port not the port window the port itself make that bigger to get more flow tat wont alter port timing at all

    Just was wondnering.

I just spent the last couple of hours cleaning the ports to remove the casting impuritys and then took out a few lumps which disrupted gas flow, and then poured liqued through the port to see what it caught on and ground and filed and sanded away till it was nice smooth flow the whole way,

I also did the inlet to the reed cage i smoothed it all off and matched a few bits up which were disrupting flow removed the oil line sticking through it re smoothed it and cleaned it am going to polish both ports also so that it will have a nice fuel flow.

Im not just jumping in there and doing it for no reason, imtaking cautious steps to improve performance
