It'll be wank value for me too then, it'll probably be good for me to go with the number 1 cause that's gonna be where I'm placing in the races

Ah, yeah, meant to respond to that... I think two riders, two bikes, one van cost us under $800. Over half that was the ferry, then fuel getting there. That's everything... the snacks, meals, and the gift we left the Chch crew for their hospitality.

I have a trailer and five seat van - so I can offer as soon as we sort who/how/when. I'm thinking the 26th will be a good time.

Not as far as i know bro, from some super-mega-rich-dude's leathers.. his name's rick martin (NOT RICKY LOL), from "cornerstone developements" all the gear no idea maybe...?

But they're well cool yeah! scuffed them up a bit in my first attempt at racing, but they're okay now, I've crashed all the bad luck outta them!

That just makes them even cooler! And whats that funky steed you're riding?

It would fit into a new class of old skool buckets I have been thinking about.
In Wellingtron we have a dichotomy of bucket racing machines between bikes like yours and alloy beam framed USD fork slick shod Motogp wannabes (like mine) We have enough time to run them as a separate class and I know there are heaps of bike like this lurking around.

    What are your thoughts?

    i must say ...

thanks to sully.... for pointing out the bush.... i have walked past that many many times....
it is good to be short... and nownext time he over takes me i'll invite him around to my "lower garage"....

and thanks for making the new base gasket for me and putting it back together and making sure everything was ok and the timeing was right and pointing out the fact that the bike was still standard..... and for telling me that there was so many more times that i can bore it out when it final shit's it self!

    thanks heaps!!!

    still have boubon left!!!

    on another note....

i have got the new piston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for the gt...!!! so that makes 3 potential bikes to take to the BOB for me!!!!!!!!

    what a ride so far!!!!

My Funky Steed is a stock as 1984 Suzuki GP125, with Yoshimura stickers, and bridgestone battlaxes. Up in AKL we race both together, using laptimes to separate classes.
oh and F5, 50cc strokers for hyperactive midgets with twitchy gearchange feet, and for anyone else skilled, small and brave enough to try, with the odd 100cc 4banger in for luck. some of the "fast fifties" riders are fairly inconsiderate to the guys riding steel framed dinosaurs like my bike..

The separate class thing would be cool, especially if enough bikes turn up, then that'd be great. It segregates the whole idea of buckets into two "socio economic groups" 1= 1'000+ spent on rolling frames, and tuned motors, and 2= $506 dollar trademe bargain with the best allloy number boards ever (my bike).. I'm looking at tuning mine slightly and fitting 17" rims with maybe a MX 80cc USD front end, but the basis will stay the same. Its all fair though, so great idea!

lol, that could be the most i've ever written in KB!

    no..
i liked it when we were all in together... up in dorkland....

luke and dave go out in the F4 class all the time ( luke has the standared rg50.. and does NOT come last ( someone will fall off ......)

while down in chch last year at the BOB we had the all in down there and the 50's didnot shame themselves.!!

about 20 years ago people were spending 1000's of $$ on their buckets... me, i spent about 3-400... and while i never won many races was all had

    FUN

    what a ride so far!!!!
