I found it quite easy to pass them on straights and I kept up with them on corners. I naturally assumed my bike was faster instead of me being a good rider.Originally Posted by Ivan
I was keeping the revs up around corners which may have given me the advantage coming out of them. On the hairpins I'd shift down twice so I'd be over 10,000rpm coming out of the corner. Any lower rpm than that and it'd take forever to speed up
