NA THAT BIKE IS TO CRAP TO WIN ... yeah i think so
I'm feeling a bit pissed off, I'm stroking down a 200 to make a 150 and i just machined the new hole in the crank web too big and the crank pin just falls straight through! Doh! Thank fark i got a spare crank!
But on the upside i got some leathers yesterday at the bucket meet so i won't have to borrow anymore!
What's the max carb size for 150 four strokes?
Can someone point me in the right direction for the bucket rules online?

I didn't get a carb with the motor so I got a 28mm flatslide to go on it but i was just looking at another thread about someone with a 28mm carb on a small 2 stroke that was not legit. So anything goes on 4 stroke? Good!
Were do ya live? and DONT say in a house that just so dumbarse... or giz ya email and ill send you a BRMC newsletter, the rules etc are in it.Originally Posted by Expert

Bore the hole even bigger, make a plug up to weld into it and then bore another hole in the plug where you want (and the correct size), a similar method was used to do my stroker crankOriginally Posted by Expert
Sounds like I might have to 150 my XLR125 I pulled top end off the other day and found it was missing dowel hence the smoke and oil. I cant finish it off tho arm is pretty had it

Ivan, i wouldn't bother doing any work on those honda motors, they are no good. The valves are tiny and they are just a bad design. Get a 200 motor like a dr200 or an xt200 and stroke it down and you got a short stroke motor with big valves! If you do the maths they have a similar valve area to an fxr150. Don't bother doing this to an xr200 motor as they use the same head as the 125....small valves, crap. If you wanna make a really hot 4 stroke get one of those cb160 twin motors and stroke that down, that will be quick!
Expert.
Ivan does not need to big bore his 125.
at the moment his XL 'R' is making so much power it snaps the bolts off the cam sproket.
and the torque wave keeps twisting his crappy italian aprillia chassis.
hmmmmm
