Of course I am going to be nice. He has earnt my respect. Riding down from Auckland to watch the buckets. Legend. Hey Mark maybe you could stop by at my house and we could ride down together.
Yeah I still do ride in the wet, just really cautious now, it was on fendalton road, just before the railyway lines. Must have been a combination of the hard old arrowmax on the front, 16" front wheel, twin front disks, and a slippery surface, or just maybe I was on a white line, who knows. Hope it doesn't happen again soon anyway.Originally Posted by TonyB

3 hours to do fork seals !
They must give that job to the work experience kids. No one else could do it so slowly
Save yourself some money ,do it yourself. If it gets really hard in the middle of the job take the forks tho the bikeshop, dont pay them 120.00 for unbolting the forks. Even if you ended up buying some circlip pliers you are still gunna be 150 to 250 better off. But if money is no poblem get a man to do them
I would do it myself but
I dont have the tools
I dont have the space
I dont have the equipment
I dont even have a garage...

Ok im not racing this weekend i opted out as I found out that my arm has fractured elbow and got a tendon wrapped around elbow ball joint and will need surgery
Buckets just aint a safe option as if i crash and smack a gutter my arm could be screwed for life
