I'm not sure what is more disturbing -
the existence of evil in our world, or the reactions of the general public to perpetrators of evil.
No matter what vile, painful or vindictive punishment you can suggest against these (I struggle to find a word for them), you won't make a damn bit of difference because you can't understand the motive.
Retribution is never a deterrent to evil.
I have no idea what is though.
This just leaves me feeling sick and empty inside.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
