    Speeding Losers

Tonight, I was walking down our drive, to clear the letter box, and I can hear a dickhead in a fast car, coming down our street, and he was fair hoofing it, as I get to the end of our drive, I looked right, to see if I can snatch his license plate and report him, but a soccer ball flies out of the house 2 drives up, and closely following it was a child.

My heart stopped, as the whole slow motion thing kicked in, as this Subaru hit the brakes hard, and locked up, whilst the child had semi-stalled on the kerb with one foot on the road. The Subaru rolled over the ball, and stopped 2 feet off the kids right leg.

I advanced very quickly to the drivers side door of the Subaru, opened it, and dragged the occupant from the car (no seatbelt), and threw him up against the side of his vehicle, in a very forceful way, and got within 5 inches of his face, and exploded into a lecture that had a lot of F words in it.

As ashamed as I am to say, I considering beating the tar out of this kid right then and there, and it was only the crying of the child that meant I didn't do it.

I have had enough of this shit, its one thing to be in control of a motor vehicle, and have a genuine accident and hurt someone, but knowingly caning a vehicle in a residential area is like firing a gun blindfolded, eventually, someones gonna die.

why do you think hoons have a bad name, relative to us. We go quicker, but not in residential areas. Its plain stupid.

They tend to realise only when they have killed someone, and then its too late isn't it?? Hopefully this one was lucky and learned their lesson free of charge.

To me, no problem with what you did mate.

Jesus, seems like all the subeys were out speeding today.

Had one wanker at the intersection of Mt Wellington highway go speeding down te-irangi towards the motorway onramp (I think) when he saw me in the mirrors. He probably got up to about 80-90 before someone mis-judged his speed and pulled out from the pakuranga mall. He hit the anchors very hard and then swerved, probably missed the rav4 by about 10-20cm. Some people forget that cars don't swerve well under brakes. Dumb fuck.

Edit: good on ya Kronos... I seen a pic of you before and that guy would have been shaarting himself!

Some fuckers just deserve a beating.

Hopefully the shock of nearly killing someone and then having some dude rip you out of your car, slam you against the car and hold you there as he shouts into your face has managed to get the messege (message?) through that thick head of his.

it sucks that dicks in cages think driving fast means they're cool. glad that kid wasn't hurt, but I wish I had seen you drag that guy out that car...

Normally, I wouldn't do things like this. Typically, I am a selfish "play safe" kiwi, who likes bitching about things, but won't do shit to change them, Yesterday however, something snapped, and I literally saw my own daughter standing in the path of this car, and I guess that caused the "explosion".

Without sounding like I am bragging, the guy in question was crying when he re-entered his vehicle and drove off, so I am certain he got the message to at least not do that shit down my street.

I was talking to my neighbour later last night, and her sister lives about 10 mins away, and people in her street got so sick of the problem, they would all collectively run out their gates when they heard a speeder, and step out onto the road, so sometimes there would be 15 or more adults swearing sulfurously, standing in the middle of the road, while a very sheepish looking dickhead had to steer around all of them to actually get away. This is a great idea, and it's stopped the problem they had completely.

I might speak to the occupants of our street about a similar idea.

Well done Kronos - hope he learned his lesson. My friends dad was killed by a speeding dickhead who T boned him as pulled out of his driveway on to the main road in the middle of Nelson. This is a 50kph zone and the boys in blue reckoned he was doing 80-90kph judging by the skid marks. Sorry to say that I saw at first hand the pain of losing a loved one due to someone else's lack of respect for the law & other road users. It was not pretty. I guess we all hooned around a bit when we were kids but the power and speed of today's cars are well out of sync with the abilities of those driving them.

Bloody top effort Kronos! Though if he's sppeding in a residential area AND not wearing a seat belt I wonder if the message will get through. Lets hope it does.

Sounds perfect. You've given someone a verbal beating they're not going to forget - he won't admit to it in front of his mates, but it's thoroughly wedged in his head. At the same time you've done about as much as you could do without receiving a visit from the Ministry of Bacon yerself.

Spot on. You might have saved a few lives in the long run.

    Good on ya.

Still shoulda bashed him thou :-) Even if it was only a couple of jabs to the crown jewels.. Guaranteed to reinforce the message, whilst leaving nothing in the way of physical evidence you bashed him for the ministry of bacon to see.

Good stuff, wish I could do the same to wankers like this but my bosses would kind of 'frown' on such action. (would have been tempted to smack his head into the steering wheel "was'nt wearing a seatbelt, must have happened when he stopped" before dragging him out)
