i disagree.. this is no point taking the "law" into your own hands and physically abusing someone.

I fully agree with what Kronos did, the kid was ok, the kid driving got a yelling that he will obviously never forget and Kronos delt to him, let of steam and stayed out of court/jail by doing so...

    Top effort Kronos..

As ashamed as I am to say, I considering beating the tar out of this kid right then and there, and it was only the crying of the child that meant I didn't do it.

I have had enough of this shit, its one thing to be in control of a motor vehicle, and have a genuine accident and hurt someone, but knowingly caning a vehicle in a residential area is like firing a gun blindfolded, eventually, someones gonna die.
Hey Kronos - you just earned a lot of respect from me dude. You did good, you care and you have self control.

    That's a fucken awesome combination.

    Nothing more to say really...

    awesome work Kronos.

the only thing is that this guy's not likely to go tell his mates about the whole episode, so you might have to look into that idea of the neighbours sorting out speeders. Kind of like a neighbourhood watch programme....

just out of intrest were the parents of the kid down the road aware of what happened/nearly happened?

I think at the end of the day if Kronos had beaten the kid he would have been resentful, now he is regretful. Good job!

Time to educate the child chasing the ball too.

Make sure someone reminds the child NOT to run like that again. Remember, look right, look left, and cross.

I think it is time to start educating the pedestrian too. I am shocked by some pedestrian qualities.

Great stuff - there's no way he will tell his mates this guy dragged him out of his car and yelled at him, but I bet he would have made sure everyone knew about the "idiot who dragged me out of my car and thumped shit out of me" - so your actions were spot on.

What annoys me is how many people try and justify this kind of speeding by saying it is personal choice. No, it isn't. Personal choice is choosing to put your foot down in a location where no one is likely to be hurt. In this instance, anyone moving into the path of this driver was in danger. Kids need to be educated on not running out into the road without stopping and looking both ways, but what if it had been an adult who saw the car but judged in a 50kph zone that they would have plenty of time to cross safely? Or like the poor guy whose father was killed coming out of his driveway - you don't expect traffic to be travelling at those speeds in residential areas. It is like pointing a loaded gun into a crowd.

Well done kronos. You taught the fecker far more than a speed camera ever would.

I haven't seen any near misses with pedestrians, despite schools nearby. I live across the road from the hospital against a busy road. It is unbelievable how many twats with loud exhausts (2 and 4 wheels) gas it up hard in either street...just senseless.

The worst have to be the labouring open-piped hardley-rollingsons. At least the jap bikes get from one end of the street to the other pretty quickly!

There is a time and place... this street is neither.
    Cheers,
    Colin

So your complaining about peaple on 2 and 4 wheels going too fast through the area, then complain about harleys not going quik enough and that atleast the jap bikes go fast through that area?

Doesn't make alot of sense man.

I wholeheartedly agree with what you did - but I can't help but think of all those people who post in here about "doing runners from the cops" and "how fast does your bike go" or "what's the fastest speed you've ever done".

How many bodies have to be scraped up off the road before "kids" of all ages learn?

Hah! Right you are...I'm not suggesting the Harleys go faster but rather go more quietly. Was thinking more about the noise than anything else. The Harleys drown out conversation/the stereo/tv...everything until they get up the end of the street and have to slow for the intersection.

Well done Kronos! You did the right thing, as others have well pointed out.

I would have been tempted to take his keys down to the local station and hand them over to the policeman on duty. Let the kid shit himself even more, wondering what was in store when he went to get his keys. (no need to say anything to the police if you didn't want to "just found these keys & handing them in") but the kid knows where to get them from...
