Welly ride to Manfield, Jan 14th

A few of us are planning to ride to Manfield to at least watch the action on the track...so I would like to propose that those that are interested would like to meet up in Mana before hand?

I cant find the thread that describes the start time etc...Im guessing we would be leaving Mana shortly after 7am?

I might watch for the morning, go to ANZA motorcycles in Palmy to look at some Triumph Daytonas, then maybe a ride home a long way or something. Weather dependant I guess.

    Whos keen?

Well the rest of the family is going away without me so I might as well come.
Now dont get me wrong, im happy to do 100km/h but i'll still be a bit slow.

so, where the hell is Pauatahanui and how far is it to manfield? (cant remember)

EDIT: NEVER MIND, just realised that I cant go that far with the cam chains in the state that they are, and im too broke at the moment to get them fixed in time. damn.

Which would mean a departure time of 5:50am for skel...and then try and stay with poos in race-mode.

shit does it take you that long to get over the taka's.....you realise the hyo-whateverthefuckitis-sung has more than one gear?

by the way everyone...skel is a bit unsure about riding in the trackday...so he needs some engouragment [speeeeling] he thinks the hyosung ain't fast enuff....and I don't see how this is relivant....

how ever if he still refusses to ride...I say we steal his keys and give them to WT for the trackday!!!!

From Ngaio to Caltex Rimutakas it takes 30mins (legalish motorway speeds). 20mins over the hill is reasonable...using other gears other than 1st.
